Housing Starts Reach Seven-Year High in July

Across the country, the short supply of houses available to prospective buyers has caused housing prices to surge, often by huge amounts. However, a new report from the National Association of Home Builders indicates that the issue of low supply may finally begin to reverse itself in the coming months. According to data from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Commerce Department, nationwide housing starts in July reached the highest levels since October of 2007!

Arkansas Sees 15% Rise in June Homes Sales

The Arkansas housing market continues its upward march in the latest report from the Arkansas Realtors Asscociation. Compared to the same time last year, the report found that the number of homes sold in June increased by nearly 15% across the state. In addition, the average price paid for those homes sold increased by close to 3 percent, from $164,227 in June 2014 to $169,091 in June 2015. This is all good news for those lucky enough to call Arkansas home!

J.D. Power Rates the Century 21® System Highest in Customer Satisfaction

J.D. Power has just released their 2015 Home Buyer/Seller Satisfaction Study, which rates the major real estate brokerages in terms of customer satisfaction across four segments and several factors. For the second consecutive year, the Century 21® System has taken home the #1 spot in the survey, earning top scores in each of the four customer segments!
